Metabolism-Boosting Chocolate Milk

I’ve never been much of a dairy lover, but I am in loveeee with this plant-based chocolate milk. It’s so easy to make and I love to have it on hand as a mid-day snack or pre-workout fuel.

It’s just as creamy and chocolatey as the chocolate milk you had as a kid, but full of plenty of great benefits. This chocolate milk will help balance blood sugar thanks to the coconut oil, cinnamon and Sakara Metabolism Powder. I don’t generally believe that one product alone will improve your health, but this metabolism powder is game changer. I’ve noticed that when I’m using it consistently almost all my sugar cravings are gone (which is miraculous for me) and I hardly bloat at all. Metabolism-Boosting Chocolate Milk

SERVES 2

1/2 cup of cashews
3-4 pitted dates, to taste
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 scoop of Sakara Metabolism Powder (can sub 1.5 tbsp cacao powder)
Dash of cinnamon
2 cups of filtered water



 

Directions

  1. Soak your cashews (and dates if not soft) in hot water for 30 minutes to an hour, until soft.

  2. Drain cashews and dates & add to a high powered blender.

  3. Add in 1 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 scoop of Sakara Metabolism powder, a dash of cinnamon and 2 cups of filtered water.

  4. Blend on high for 1 minute, or until smooth and creamy.

  5. Store in the fridge up to 3 days.
